Ellen Couchman Crook our Project Administrator works with a team of
Partners from the Council, Occupational Therapy and the NHS, alongside housing professionals. This includes Registered Social Landlords (RSLs) and Housing Agencies (HAs) to assist people who are disabled to find suitable housing.

This independent voluntary sector project brings together over 90% of the Housing Agencies (HAs) and Registered Social Landlords (RSLs) in Walsall. WAHS work closely with housing partners to successfully match their adapted properties to a list of registered clients, who have been referred to the service by Health Professionals. The good news is that the milliions of pounds saved over the years, from not having to adapt clients' existing properties, can be passed on to others in need of adaptions!
